This configuration is common to the clamshell heads. Ground any line, F1 to F12 to select the channel.

Binary Channel Selection
(Syntor only)

Apply ground to F11 and F12, placing the radio in the binary input mode. F1 to F5 now are used to select one of 32 channels binary fashion with inverted logic. Head which use this scheme are the 16 channel clamshell and the sys90 8, 16, 24 and 32 channel heads with 8 switches in the upper row and ABCD possible in the bottom row.
